"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

what are you getting instead?  Are you getting the Outlook Today screen?  If so there is an option at the top right that should say "Customize Outlook Today..."  In there there is a check box you can remove that says "When starting, go directly to Outlook Today."  Check this off.  If you have Outlook 2000 the check box may be at the bottom of the Outlook Today page.

If this is not what you are even seeing please explain.
