Hi guys,
I wonder if we can schedule jobs in mysql that run hourly or daily at a pearticular time...i need some good references.  Basically i want to delete the rows from the table hourly depending on status field.

Support for this is added in version 5.1 (currently in beta).  Unless you are using 5.1, you will need to use some external scheduling mechanism (crontab, Windows task scheduler, application-level scheduling).
