"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

use the import/export function of the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC). If you doin't have GPMC installed, get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/gpmc/gpmcintro.mspx

Thanks, Are there changes to be made to the exported file before importing?

depends on what you are exporting.
If you are exporting permissions linked to user accounts, they will most probably not match in another forest.
