Deferred: Connection reset

FC3 running default sendmail as supplied with package.

I have a customer who normally has no problems sending emails. however now his emails are reporting Deferred: Connection reset by

I to get the same response if i use the same mail server.

    Is his isp? Why is he using it as a relay?

    no its not his ISP. he is sending thru my mail server and its my servers maillog that shows the error.

    he is posting to a list or both of which report the error.
