This works in FileMaker pro 5

But not in FileMaker pro 8
Can you tell me what the new rules are?

The web companion has changed in between v6 and 7.
I am not an expert of this at all.
But if you "spy" fm7 web companion when opening a file, you should be able to get the current syntax.

or if you want skip the intro menu which allows to manually select the database to open:

Since yr previous site was not using the root of the web server, I am not sure this will work; this is why I skipped this subfolder name so far.
