You have to set port forwarding up on your router. You need to have TCP/UDP ports 5424 and 5425 forward to those same ports on your computer. Hope your computer at home has a static IP.
BTW - port 3389 is for Remote Desktop, not Beyond Remote.

ECNSSMT,

3389/tcp is the port used by Remote Desktop Connection in Windows.
Beyond Remote uses ports 5424/tcp & 5424/udp.

KingSencat,

If you are behind a router, forward the above port(s) using NAT/Port Forwarding.

Good luck,

i change the port for the Beyond Remote from 5424 to 3389 and still my friend cannot connect at me ... but i can connect from my pc to my pc.
ECNSSMT: How i will forward the ports using NAT/Port Forwarding ? can you explain me please?
Notice that I specifically listed two ports. You can back to the default 5424, but you also need to configure tcp and udp ports 5425 on your router.

Go to http://www.portforward.com/

You should be able to find instructions for your particular model of router. If you cannot or you want us to walk you through it, tell us your router model and the IP address of your computer. (Since we do not know your public IP, nor do we need to, you should be alright)
I have ADSL Modem .. i dont have any rooter
What brand and model?
doesnt matter ... i have 2 friends that they use the same ISP adsl modem ... the same OS .. and in the 1 friend i cannot connect .. i dont understand why ..
Actually it does... can't tell you how to port forward if I don't know which model it is.

But also, 192.168.x.x is a nonroutable private IP address. Which is something that cannot be seen from the outside world. You have to give people your public IP address. Go to http://www.whatismyip.com/ and that should be the IP your friends are trying to connect to, not your 192.168.x.x address.
Still not working i checked many times :( ...
Do you know if your modem is configured to operate in bridge mode?
The problem is that --> i have 2 friends that they use the same ISP adsl modem ... the same OS .. and in the 1 of my 2 friend i cannot connect using Beyond Remote .. i dont understand why .. can you help me pls ?
They might have the same modem configured differently.... without additional information like the brand and model, it makes it really hard to try to tell you exactly what it is. Besides, what is the true problem... connecting to them or them connecting to you?
You know some remote access program that work on all the computer ips ? or a remote access program who dont need ip adress or something ?
Unless Beyond Remote lets you specifically block certain IP addresses, it's going to allow all by default.

You're always going to need to know a domain name or IP address of some sort (the domain name would be used to find the IP anyway). But remember, you can usually specific some sort of blocking... that or a have a firewall prevent anything at all.
I need a program that really works on all the ips ... somebody got ?
All remote control programs work on all IPs by default... it's all about configuration. Also, other factors include routers and firewalls. However, those are details we haven't been provided by to this point.
but where is the problem man ? somebody try to connect at my pc using Beyond Remote and he cannot connect .. i am connecting using a normal modem and he can connect .... thats means something wrong with my ADSL Modem ..

That's what I'm trying to tell you... without additional information, I can't tell you what's wrong.  My guess is either a router or a firewall issue. However, you haven't really told me about either one.
Hello experts!

1PC = ME
2PC= MY FRIEND

1PC internet connection= ADSL MODEM / INTERNAL & EXTERNAL IP IS NOT THE SAME /
2PC internet connection= MODEM 48KB / INTERNAL & EXTERNAL IP IS THE SAME /

I have found Beyond Remote and i was test it to my friend pc who he use a modem connection 48kb and it was working fine! .. we try to connect from the 2pc to the 1pc using my external ip and it was not working .. thats why because My internal ip is 192.168***** and my external 83.168.4*****  this is cause all this problem and my friend cannot connect at me ? please help me urgent! thanks.
What brand and model is your modem? It sounds like it might be a gateway of some sort. You should either configure your modem to operate in bridge mode or check to see if there's some sort of setting for port forwarding on it.
Hi Folks,

Sorry about that.  Somehow I WAS focused on RDP...

Check these:

1 - Port forwarding on your router to allow Beyond Remote port to be accessed.

2 - If you have a firewall - make sure it is allowing the Beyond Remote port to be accessed.

3 -  If you have Win XP sp2 - there is a firewall within that you need to configure (IF it is ON) to allow that port to be accessed. To Open ports manually by using Windows XP Firewall :

1. Click Start, click Run, type wscui.cpl in the Open box, and then click OK.
2. Click Windows Firewall.
3. On the Exceptions tab, click Add Port.
4. In the Add a Port dialog box, type the number of the port that you want to open in the Port number box, and then click either TCP or UDP. (Beyond Remote uses ports 5424/tcp & 5424/udp.)
5. Type a name for the port, and then click OK. For example, type Beyond Remote.
6. To view or set the scope for the port exception, click Change Scope, and then click OK.
7. On the Exceptions tab, notice that the new service is listed.

To enable the port, click to select the check box next to the service, and then click OK

4 - Give your friend the external 83.168.4*****  address to connect to

Hopefully this helps ...
I dont have any router .. i have just the ADSL(USB modem) .. by the way i have configure the firewall manual and i make what you tell me still dont work ... :(
Just to see if it is your config of the firewall, have you tried disabling the firewall on your pc?
KingSencat,

What is your ADSL Modem make and model number?

You have been asked for this several times and not told us!
How do you expect us to help if you don't give us the information we need?

So I'll ask again, as you obviously don't get it!
