The basic way is to make a screen capture (Alt + 'Print screen' captures the current window) and paste it to excel.

You have 3 options available:

1. If you are in Preview Mode you can choose Copy from the Edit Menu and Filemaker will make a screen capture of your report as you see it in Preview Mode. You need to copy each page of your report.
2. If you need the records then you will need to create a Script that performs a Copy all Records step. This will copy all records present in your layout without format.
You can paste those records and manipulate them in Excel with a Dinamic Table.
3. If your reports contains subtotals and you want something similar but don't want to use a dinamic table you can export your records in Filemaker. Once you have your records sorted the way you do for your report choose Export Records from the File Menu. Type in a name and choose your file format (i. e. sylk for Excel); then choose all the records you want to export and make sure you include your Summary Fields. Click in the Summarize by button and select the categories you want to break down your report. Click export and you are done. You can open that file with Excel and format it the way you want.

If you have several pages, then you have to do it once per page, and for some reason, the whole screen is captured in filemaker, not just the current window.
Otherwise, though not a direct solution, there are 2 plug-ins, originally designed for emails which can generate an image from yr layout in preview mode,  attached to a mail;
But the simplest remains to preview the layout, copy then paste in excel. And if you have many pages, you'd better do a pdf file as many images in excel is not a good idea, you'd rather generate a pdf from the excel file too, then merge them together?

As long as you go to each of the pages of your report you will be able to copy and paste them in Excel.
If you like PDF's you can also try to use Cute PDF. This is like a virtual printer that enables you to create PDF's from any aplication. And it's free. You can generate a PDF with all pages of your report included.
