How to Store Greek statements into MySQL DB using JSP

I try to storing Greek into MySQL DB but all I get into DB is ???????????? :(

I added to my connection string "useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=UTF-8" and my DB is UTF-8 encoding
when i enter the data directly into my db it inserted 100% right and retrive it into my page 100% right.

but the problem is when storing the data into my DB :(

    characterEncoding parameter is enough. Remove the useUnicode paramerer, as far as i know it was before version 4.1 that it was used.

    May be u better set the default character set of the mysql to "utf8". Change it, restart the mysql server and see if it helps.
