Hi everyone,

A client of mine using Mac OSX with all updates cannot send word documents as attachment. Indeed the documents is set as attached by thunderbird, but when the recipient recieves the email, it is impossible to read or open the attachment. I t appears as ????????? (question marks within the text core) and therefore cannot be open while the email client or webmail shows up an attachment.

P.S. also make sure the attachment name ends in ".doc" for Word documents.

If none of the above solves the problem, suggest the client switch from Thunderbird to Mail.app with comes with OS X.
