Detect Browser Settings

Is it possible to get a browsers' setting for temporary internet files? Ideally I want to be able to to force users of my site to have "Every Visit To The Page" to be checked but would settle for being able to detect the setting and let the user know it needs to be changed.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

So the bottom line, you simply don't want the pages to be cached.  Is this correct.

If so, see this reference.

Thanks, thats worth the points though I am still curious to see if we can detect that setting (possible from the registry?).
