I want to connect to internet using GPRS enabled mobile phone(Nokia 6020). For that i have install the modem ie OTA CA-42  on all selected ports, however the data cable through which the mobile phone is connect to the PC is installed on the port COM2. Whenever i want to connect to the internet through Nokia PC suit software, it continuously tries to connect to the internet but no result after waiting for a long time. I am using Nokia 6020 with CA42 data cable and also the GPRS facility.

Is it the original Nokia cable? I tried with non original and it failed too.
Try connecting via IR or BT to check the Internet connectivity.

Besides that - settings inside the phone matter very much how is it set.

    Good Luck

I got the success at last, the problem eas that, u can not use the phone and modem connectivity at the same time, so first i disconnected the phone from that port and than tried. now the internet is working fine.
