Most of you know that I am responsible for the cleanup of the old questions. When the Asker leaves a question open and there is no activity in the question for more than 21 days, the question is called abandoned and it needs to be closed administratively. But for doing this, we need someone to review the question and make a recommendation. And that is what the Cleanup Volunteers are doing.

Good advice from Annie Jay. I come across a lot that i have participated in. Common sense prevails really and on some of them I have awarded myself accept/assist. When in doubt though, personally I veer towards leaving myself out of the split.

if i ping a question or make a reccomendation and within a couple of days the conversation is picked up again, do i need to remove my reccomendation or post anything else or will the mods just ignore it??

ah this is true - prob should have thought on that a bit more....

:) yes it does.
You can have 300 ranges - as long as the cleanup is in one area and in one day, the result is in one recommendation list :)

not a problem. I do not have too many CVs here - in some areas I have 3 CVs for 100 questions per week and in such cases such pings are problems. Here we are still ok :)

You too James. Word of caution in the 2003 TA. That has a lot of people who think they are 'experts' and you will get a number who will possibly'challenge' your reasons..... Walk carefully lol :)

Nice bloke too, i chat to him occassionly. I gave poor old Keiren (redseattechnologies) a run for his money with 2003 TA when he started with a couple of questions i had worked on.... He emailed me back and turns out he works 20 minutes down the road from me! Small world hey

Yes - you start on the 1st of May and clean any abandoned question which appears in May
so far i have done 1 - 20may, been a bit hectic as i am doing every couple of days so there is no doubt some that are now due for cleanup that weren't a few days ago...... ill keep going for the next couple of weeks but then i am off on holidays for a couple of weeks woohoo! I am thinking about taking a trip to the UK to give Keith some fashion tips.... :P

lol. James's Grandparents live only 10 miles from me in England. They are visiting him in Australia soon so I expect a present (some shorts) when they return :) They probably will not fit me as I have a much fitter & slimmer body than James but it is the thought that counts hahaha

All is well, Keith has enough cleanup to do in lots of TA's - I mean if you get bored Keith, feel free :).... I usually get in there and do a stack every so often when i can.
