I am getting the following error when Veritas attempts to back up my media to a back disk on another pc:
Backup - C: Storage device "DW-Weekly" reported an error on a request to write data to media.

Error reported:
The semaphore timeout period has expired.

When i go into the event viewer i get the following error id's: 34113, 33808, 58057, 57665

Thanks

no luck with the first article. I attempted to follow the suggestion on the second article but ran into another issue. When running the wizard for the Advanced Open File Option i get to the point when i enter the server and my credentials and when i hit next a popup appears saying Advanced file open option does not appear to be intsalled properly on the server

NFR key for Veeam Agent for Linux

Veeam is happy to provide a free NFR license for one year.  It allows for the non‑production use and valid for five workstations and two servers. Veeam Agent for Linux is a simple backup tool for your Linux installations, both on‑premises and in the public cloud.

One more thing i forgot to mention, when i do a test run on the same backup job i get the following error:

Media CheckOnline media check   : Insufficient online or nearline media is available to start job.Overwrite media check: There is no media online or nearline that can be overwritten or the job has been marked append/terminate.Media check status   : Failed

I have tried all the suggestions on the veritas website with still no luck.
