How to use Outlook/Exchange Public Folder Calendar Data for status panel outside conference rooms

We would like to deploy some type of display panel or smart display outside a conference room to display Outlook/Exchange Public Folder calendar data.  Second phase may also include allowing users to book timeslots on the calendar right from the status panel.
We currently use Exchange 2000 and have a regular Public Folder setup for booking our conference room.
I believe something like a smart display (V150p) or perhaps just a remote touch panel monitor would work, however; I have not been able to find an application, add-in, or web applet that will display the appropriate data on this hardware.
Does anyone know of a way to do what we are proposing?  I have found several leads but none have checked out (dead link to software, etc).  Will this require programming? Help!
Any comments, questions, or suggestions are appreciated.

    Hi jxn_townie,

I had to look up the V150p to see what it is.  It appears to just do remote desktop control, so I'd expect what you want to do is possible.  I also expect it'll require a third-party application (I'm not aware of any that do what you described) or a custom written application.
