P4S533-MX ASUS Date and Time Problem

Hi,

 I have a problem with my pc. Everytime I start the pc the date will change to January 1 2000. I already replaced the battery but still the same problem. Can you help me please?

download and update the latest BIOS for your motherboard

In addition, right-click on the clock, adjust time, then go the INTERNET TIME tab.. click UPDATE

what about bios settings. are they lost as well?
if yes, check if u have put the jumper for 'reset bios' on permanently. remove this jumper or put it to neutral position.
if no, prob you have a faulty mb/ or even faulty battery holder.

all the setting will reset to the original.

Since when do you have the problem? It seems to that is not a new comp since the date of bios is january 2000. Try a BIOS update if you haven't allready and if so check the new hradware installed for any conflicts.
The power supply may be also the problem.
