What field properties did you remove?  usually field properties are name and initial value.  Name mostly should correspond to the name of the field in the database,  initial value is usually blank.

After entring the username and password and by click on continue, it should verify the username and password and if the username and password is correct then proceed to main.asp

Hi,

How did you connect the form to the database for verification?
Why are you using a picture instead of a Submit button?

Hi,

I am glad it worked.

It was very easy for me to ask you to re-insert the field and the picture,  but I thought that you have certain properties involved.
