Acrobat Reader Write Protect Error

I have a CD-R containing a PDF.  I am opening this with Acrobat Reader 7.07.  When I try and print the PDF I get an error message: Adobe Acrobat: AcroRd32.exe - Write Protect Error The disk cannot be written to because it is write protected.  Please remove the write protection from the volume (CD Name) in drive D (CD Drive): cancel, try again, continue?. Cancel lets you go ahead and print but I need to be able to print without the error.

Greetings, LiamMcKay !

Right click on the PDF file and select Properties.  Make sure to uncheck "Read-Only" and "System". Click OK.

If no joy, some PDF files are configure so that you cannot print the file.  You need to contact the owner of the file.

Best wishes!
