Need audio driver

I am not able to find the audio driver for a Compac Presario SR 1703wm. This computer had a bad hard drive and the restore is no longer available.  I called HP and they wanted to charge me 70.00 for support.  There was not a disk with the system.  It came from WalMart.  I looked on HP's site and was not able to find the audio driver.  I found some info that said it was an AC 97 sound card.  I tried driverguide.com and installed the c-media version but did not work.  Please help.

Thanks,

John

BTW  It is a intergrated sound card
