Looking for a download manager for my clients

I need to provide a download manager to my clients when they download large files from me.  I'd like it to be automatic, like when one downloads Acrobat or netscape.  My app is almost 200 MB, and it would be great if I could provide them this convenience for Web downloads.  Anyone used one before?

Any and all help is wildly appreciated.

BR Dushan,

Thanks for the response.  I think I may have sent you down the wrong path. In re-reading my question, I should have phrased it better.  I'm not looking for a download client for any file, I'm looking for an application that acts as a download manager for my software only, for any web user.  the process would go something like this:  The user (anyone) would sign up to download my trial software.  They complete the form and download the downlaod manager.  The download manager connects to my server and makes sure that the download is successful.  The manager then removes itself from the user's PC.

I've used other applications that had this as part of the trial experience.

I hope this clears things up a bit, and thanks again for the quickl response!

Your welcome  ike1492 !
And how about CVS , CVS web base system. When you install it on web server and after opened perticular ports to the outside, users can automatically download it. And you can use cvs users to allow the downloading. But before that, there should be some registration web pagea and db to store your client info. After registration completes you can direct to cvs downloading..

By the time you can have version controlling system too..
And its a free , opensource system.

And you can have more info for intall it with following solution.

If you need more info please don't hesitate to contact me.

A 200mb app shouldn't be redistributed completely every time... you should use a patching system.

Take a look at AgenSoft's Patch Factory...

Also, Share-It provides an optional download manager.  See http://www.shareit.com/
