This is the first time I have written on this site

I have a problem with my web page not coming up on my server 2003

What has just happen I have migrated my server 2000 to server 2003 and removed the old proxy server NT 4 out and replace with a new Linksys RV082

After I have ran dcpromo on the server 2000 and removed the proxy server I noticed that my page would not work on my server 2003 and on all the client computers

I have my web hosted by another company and domain name on my server is the same   for ex.. web site is www.example.ca and my server name is server-4 but the DNS name is example.ca

I do a ping to www.example.ca and there is no reply and same with a tracert etc....

I know that my web site is working on my home computer and others computers

Does any know whats wrong? - If you need more info let me know

1Check the DNS entries in your pc. If your website is run at your home means site is working and propagted so you need to check your DNS entries in the LAN card or check with another ISP
2. OPen dnsstuff.com and ping the site what is the result seeif ping means problem in your network
3. If you are using DNS server then check the dns server
4.Or check the c:\window\drivers\etc\host open with the notepad and check the if any entries there
5. Delete cookies and temporary files

Thanks For the reply

I have looked in the C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\host and nothing was there. so I added the route IP with the Name (www.example.ca) and it worked but thats not a good solution since I have more than 50 computers on the network attached to the domain

I deleted the internet temp files and cookies - same problem

The funny thing is that every single other web site works just fine

Could it be that my domain name in my DNS  example.ca is the same as the web site example.ca and that it looking for a local name/address of example.ca and then stops and reports page can not be disaplyed?

I tried the dnsstuff.com and every things looks fine with the web site

I have tried to point the TCP DNS entires to the router and then to itself but makes no diff

every thing in the DNS manager looks fine

any more thoughts or solutions
