Symbol P360 batch scanner

We have a Symbol p360 batch scanner which will be scanning item into our tracking system.
One of the things we need the scanner to do is give us a time date stamp when something is scanned.
Im looking for info on this.
I think we need to use the MCL Designer software to accomplish this.
Does anyone have experiance in this?

Have you had a look at the free Symbols 123Scan utility software at http://devzone.symbol.com/123scan.cfm - it may be able to help as it enables you to program the scanner via ADF rules to alter the barcode data before it's transmitted back to the back-end.  It's help file is available at http://www.symbol.com/legacy_manuals/scanner/123scan.html if you want an overview of the type of thing it can do.

I did look at that and was told I couldnt accomplish the date time stamp
with 123scan
I also didnt see anywhere in the documentation where I could do that.
