Forwarding email

Hi !!

Can someone please help me with teh following ?

I use Lotus Notes 6.5 and have Admin access. One of our associates works only 2 days a week and I will like to
set up an agent or something else that will send a copy of every emails he receives on Lotus Notes to his private
Hotmail/Yahoo account while keeping a copy on Lotus Notes.

Thanks

Can I do it with an agent ? If so, can someone give me a detailed example ?

Thanks

Hi Bianchi,

I'm sure it can be done with an agent.. I don't have the expertise; maybe someone else here can help you if you need to do it that way.

Why is the Mailin Database solution not a fit for you requirement?  Do you need it explained further or assistance setting up?

I agree with sjef bosman on the rule setup..

Just want to add one note. We currently allow some people to do this but have a horrible problem with the users trying to use their ISP accounts to filter spam that gets forwarded over by the rules. They don't realize when one a spam message is forwarded and you use AOL or something to mark it as spam you are marking your company's server/IP address instead of the original spammer. We are currently being blacklisted by some ISPs for this and have had to lock down the forwarding of e-mails

Just an FYI I thought I would share to help out.
brrwiggins.. nice comment, and definately something to think about.   If I can avoid forwarding to private email, I do, also.
Interesting thought indeed. I'd hope the ISP would send a mail to admin(at)yourcompany.com when the server is marked as spammer for the first time. I spose they couldn't care less...
Some ISPs have a service that will send you a copy of messages that was sent from your IP address and were marked as spam by the end user. However they remove a lot of the header information (including recipeint info) for security purposes. So if you have several people forwarding their e-mails using rules the notification rarely helps.
