How do I get SOAP contents from a SOAPElement?

This might be a simple question but I am pretty new to SOAP.  I have a asp client that is sending me SOAP messages.  I have exposed an endpoint for him to call.  Inside the SOAP body he sends me xml.  I have some xml converters that I wrote that make it easy for me to convert xml into Objects.  I was wondering how I can just pull the xml from the SOAP body.  Can someone explain to me how I can get the contents from the SOAP message?  Right now I am using a SOAPElement, is this what I should be using?
