HP Pavilion zv5000 Processor upgrade

Hello I currently have a hp pavillion ZV5000 with a 3000+ AMD Processor. I am atempting to upgrade the processor to a 3700+ Athlon Turion. I have atempted putting in the new processor and it does NOT boot. It will power on but refuses to post video. I have it upgraded to the latest bios. I am a little out of the loop with the new 64-bit processors yes it is a 754 socket. Any rellavant information on the subject could be helpfull

PS am going to atempt to downgrade the bios and see if that fixes anything.

Ah HA! I downgraded the bios to .03 And found that it didn't recognize the CPU corretly but it WILL post. So sicne I couldnt get it to go over 800Mhz I decided to check out on the fly overclocking utilities. and found this really nice one called CrystalCPUID. It crates shortcuts to your desktop and manages to switch the CPU on the fly. Its not the most beutifull solution but it does work (with a very noticable performance increase) :).
