ActiveX and upcoming Microsoft changes

Hello,

I've read about some imminent changes that Microsoft is making with an IE patch:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/author/dhtml/overview/activating_activex.asp?frame=true

I want to know if our ActiveX application is going to be effected and what I need to do about it.

It is loaded in our page as:

<OBJECT ID="Notepad" CLASSID="CLSID:9E50F95F-76D0-40AB-BBF1-1E17DCAACC7D" CODEBASE="/activex/pad.CAB#version=2,0,0,0"></OBJECT>

Are we at risk of our application being blocked in the immediate future?

Sorry for my ignorance and thanks for your expertise.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't think it will be blocked as such.

I use the latest patched version of IE6 and have seen this already. It simply means that your control will load as normal, but before the user can interact with it they need to click on it.
