Can you help

We have a 2003 server with RRAS connecting 30 Windows XP clients over a pptp vpn connection.

Do we need licences (CAL) for the 30 vpn connections?

Regards
Richard

Yes, all RAS users will need a CAL on the 2k3 server.  However, if you are doing per-user licensing, the CAL assigned to that client should cover it.  If you are doing per-server then you will need enough CALs to cover the MAX Simultanious connections to that server.
