Hello everyone,

Please have a look at alibaba.com dan trademe.co.nz and see how the pages are produced in html? but actually they are database sites. So how do they create html output from a database driven site ? normally its asp or php files. Can you please provide a brief overview/direction as to how this can be done with asp or php on a windows server or any other server that i need to get this done. Thank you

Server setting, use html suffix instead of asp/php

In IIS, on the  Properties > Home Directory >  config.  add the .html suffix and the setting same as .asp, then you can run the asp program use .html suffix on the web sites.

Thank you. I have done as follows:

In IIS, on the  Properties > Home Directory >  config.  add the .html suffix and the setting same as .asp.

The url was http://202.60.75.103/ads/join_form.php
so ive tried http://202.60.75.103/ads/join_form.html but it says page cannot be found.

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks

your page must named join_form.html  not use .php suffix yet.

Thank you, I have renamed the file http://202.60.75.103/ads/join_form.html but if you load the page there are funny errors...

"; // --------------- GET/POST actions $page = (int)$_POST['page']; // create number of current page and additional sql conditions for join page $page = (!$page) ? '1' : $page + 1; // if user select 'couple' then show him fields for couple profile .. $profile_type_add = ('couple' != $_GET['ProfileType'] && 'couple' != $_POST['ProfileType']) ? " AND profile_type != 'couple

What have I done wrong please?
