transparent select/option boxes

Hopefully this will be simple.

I am using some tables on a page which can be dragged around the screen.

The problem im having is that when I drag the table over a select box (combo type box) the select box appears ontop of the table, whereas everything else is hidden behind it.

Anyone know how I could solve this?

This is a famous problem between <select> and DIVs in IE. Check out this URL:
