Problems with MsWebDVD....

I haven't had to play a DVD since VB6 but when I try to play the DVD in VB.NET 2005 I get a "Managed Code (MDA)" error saying something like "Loader Locked".  Here is the code that I used in VB6 and is the same code I tried to use in VB.NET 2005.

"DVD" is the name of the MsWebDVD control

DVD.DVDDirectory = "D:\VIDEO_TS"
DVD.Play

Any ideas on how to play a DVD with the new VB 2005 environment?

Thanks!!

Thanks, I will try out your links here soon.  Hmmm, the MSWebDVD comes with VB.NET 2005 so I would assume that it would be compatible otherwise they would have taken that control out of the Project References.

did you try using that ref in your 2005 project?

Yes, I added that reference that was listed in the "COM" tab.  I am downloading the DirectX SDK to mess around with that too.

I registered the previous version 6.4 of the MSWebDVD.dll and the control works great!
