Thanks for the help. I was not even thinking about Winzip because the file was so large. I just needed to upgrade my version it shrunk the file from 5 GB to 850 MB.<br />

if possible try to use Winrar, which is a far better compressor than Winzip

I have a database that after it is backed up is is between 5 and 6 GB. I need to put this on a DVD for a client and am unsure if I can span the backup file across multiple disks<br />
