I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Photoshop 8 at work and only have CS here at home so I can’t be definitive, however…PS8 has a much more robust file browser. Not only does it let you conduct image searches by keyword and description, it keeps track of the last 30 folders that you have been to.
I started assigning keywords to my images to aid in searching when I first started, but found that I couldn’t keep up.
Anyway, if memory serves me correct. The search folder is used by the CS family of products to keep up with search data.
 What size are the files?
