I can't configure DHCP to one client

Dear All

on of our employee using IBM laptop ,when i configure his laptop to using DHCE it's work fine after he  restart his machine it get the old static IP .

does the TCPIP connections say it is set to manual when he restarts the machine or is he just getting the same address though DHCP?

Yet it set to manual and give him a Static IP he was using it befor i change our network to DHCP .

Or you can try to uninstall then reinstall the TCP/IP stack.

IBM Laptops can have the "IBM Access Connections Software" installed, which controls the network card settings.  There could be a profile set in that which is getting reapplied.

Good call. That's very possible too. Is automatically switching enabled if the user has that on the machine? If not, what profile is selected by default?
