Does anybody know of any good applications to transfer pictures from the Razr V3c phone to a computer? I know about the Motorola Phone Tools, but I really don't want to spend any money on this. So any free applications would be appriciated.

The cut down version of the tools that come free with the phone can do this

I got mine from Verizon. I don't think it came with any.

Do you know where I could download that cut down version?

Looks like mobile phone suppliers are shaving costs by leaving the "free" PC software out of the deal!

If you got a CD with your phone it should be on there.

Otherwise check with Verizon first to make sure they didn't leave it out by mistake otherwise it'll cost you about another $20 (for which they should throw in a mini-USB cable as well).  Your looking for Motorola Mobile PhoneTools Lite (MPT), anything from v. 3.11d onwards will work for the V3c.

The full version is around $60 but you only need that if you want to interface with Outlook for email & calendar conduits.

The other "free" alternative is to use Bluetooth, if you already have a BT enabled PC you can just pair it with the 'phone and transfer your images wirelessly  - buying a cheap BT USB dongle would probably set you back less than the price of the software!
