REMOVED computer from domain and cannot login- Do not know password....HELP

I removed a computer from a domain but I do not know the password of the local account. How do I connect to the domain to create another local account or just be able to login to it the way it is.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi ncagroup,
It happened to me before, and I resolve it using either Hirens CD and then reset the built-in Administrator local account, and then login using ERD commander 2005, It's a great tool for such case, I've tried to find the link for you to download it, but unfortunately I didn't find it, except through the archive the web :

http://web.archive.org/web/20050329093306/www.winternals.com/products/repairandrecovery/erdcommander2002.asp?pid=erd

It will boots your system even if it's dead directly from CD into a Windows-like environment, and then from there you can see what is the users you have in the system if you find the admin then you are lucky, otherwise, you can see the existing users "or create admin user" and then reset the password, and Walla your problem resolved.

Good luck!

Forget spending money on it.  That's a bootable CD-ISO that will recover local admin passwords.
