Pass a Session Variable to a Crystal Report From an Existing Website

I am having problems passing a vairable to CR .net -

I have a .NET Crystal Application and I have a Session variable that is in my normal Website - I now created a CR reporting solution and I have put Session("MyVar") into the report.aspx.vb code - I can set a session variable in another page inside the project, but when I try to reference a variable from another page in my website - it doesn't work -

I think it has to do with how .net creates another web when you create the Crystal solution - I have tried to add my web to the solution and it still seems to clear all of the sessions when you run a report -

I have read a few other posts and they reference a report.document parameter - but I am unsure how to implement this - so my questions is -

Are the sessions clearing because .NET program creates a new web when I create a CR solution or does the CR solution clear all of the sessions when it runs and there is a special way to call sessions into the CR report that I don't know about -

Figured it out - fires the aspx compiler on the server which starts a whole new session - you can only pass variables thru the command line - then you set them as session variables and redirect to your reports page aspx -
