I have the Port Expander w/Ethernet and and an USB external drive. I can use it while in Windows, but cannot choose it in BIOS to boot from. I have a these choices "FD--LAN—HDD", I have no CD-ROM external or internal drive. Tried them all still won't boot from floppy A:, what can I do? I upgraded to Windows 2000 Pro using crossover a cable to another laptop sharing its CD-ROM drive. I have a 2 gig HD and want to do a clean install of XP, but can't because the copied install files do not leave space. I want to fdisk and go from there.
