Formatting font in textarea

Is it possible to format the contens of textarea ?

I mean if I have multiple line for textarea, I want to hve first line as normal text , 2nd line as bold and then 3rd line as italic.. IS this possible? and how?

    Actually, it is *not* possible with a textarea.  However, it is possible wth one of the many scripted wysiwyg controls on the market today, like gamebits linked to.
