Hi, this is my user groups in SQL Server:

UserTypeDesc      UserTypeLevel
Master                      1
Administrator      2
Secretary                      3

This can change.
I need to carry this data over on each page.
I made a strongly typed dataset.
I can fill it on the login screen.
I need to somehow be able to access this dataset from any page on the whole program.
I dont want to write it to xml somewhere and read it on every page, because people can change it.
if however i have to do it, then obviously i have to.

how should i handle this?
i go from pageA to pageB using global forms :
If login is successful, you will get the menu_selection screen:
Menu_Selection.GlobalForm.MdiParent = parent1.GlobalForm
Menu_Selection.GlobalForm.Visible = True

    I take it this is ASP?  With all the talk of frames

    Can you not put it in session variables?

            Session("UserType") = "Admin"
            UserType = Session("UserType")

    If it isn't asp then load the dataset into a global module with a public scope.

    Class GlobalVars
    Public mDataset as Dataset
