Scrolling list of links? Does anyone know of a good tutorial (very little flash knowledge)

Hello Experts.  I've used little or no flash to this point, but would like to start.  I have a dynamic list of links (coldfusion), which I'd like to present like macromedia (adobe) does on the exchange page: http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm#loc=en_us&view=sn100&viewName=Macromedia%20Exchange&avm=1

(You see the exchange top 10, it's a scrolling list of links).

Does anyone know of a good tutorial or have examples of how to achieve this.  I have Flash 8.  Is there a component or something I can use???  Thanks so much for any help advice.

Even though this tutorial uses xml /soap service fields, the concepts are the same.

there's also the bycicle trips tutorial which should be part of your default install of Flash 8.

the text area would also work. parse the data from cf to the flash and will scroll as required (htmlEnabled)
