Newbie question concerning getting COTS API's into NetBeans

I am using NetBeans 4.1 and downloaded a snmp API.  I have never used NetBeans before and am having problems doing what is probably the very basic task of importing that snmp API into my project.

I imagine it has something to do with classpaths, libraries, etc.  But either way, I don't know how to use NetBeans to tell it to import those jar files so I can use them in my solution.

Thanks in advance

    Accepted Solution

      1. Assuming your project name is "SNMP_App"
      2. After opening your project in Netbeans IDE  In the Projects window, right-click the "SNMP_App" project node and choose Properties. Select Libraries in the left panel of the dialog box.
       3. Click Add JAR/Folder on the right panel and select the library yuo want to add to the project . The JAR file is added to the project's classpath.
