Also, are there tapes allocated to that pool?<br />

Yes I am pointing to the correct pool, but when I go inside and try to check for my devices it says there are no devices avilable to add.<br />

Hello Experts thanks for all the help. I open the server disconnected the tape drive and reconnected it the back, backup exec is now working fine. Don't know what was going wrong. I didn't do any changes to the hardware or software before this issue started.

Backup Exec

The term "Backup" means the methods and processes involved to copy computer data (system data as well as application data) to media other than the ones where the data originally live (disk, tape, optical, cloud). Storage Software
