Just off the top of my you have the backup job pointed to the correct media pool?

Also, are there tapes allocated to that pool?

Yes I am pointing to the correct pool, but when I go inside and try to check for my devices it says there are no devices avilable to add.

    give this a read,
and also if you can give alittle more info, on any changes that happened, specs, tape drive, HDD etc?

Hello Experts thanks for all the help. I open the server disconnected the tape drive and reconnected it the back, backup exec is now working fine. Don't know what was going wrong. I didn't do any changes to the hardware or software before this issue started.
