"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi lhaluska,

I think that would be more of a browser option.  The browser simply remembers the URL address, the website has no control over that.  Maybe I am wrong.

BogoJoker is correct.  You cannot prevent someone from adding your webpage in thier favorites or bookmarking it.  Even if you could override the browser functionality you would impair other sites and  a person can manually create a bookmark by entering the address.

You cannot turn off basica functionality of a browser.  If you could that would be a security hole that Microsoft would fix.
