Help Please TNS-01150: The address of the specified listener name is incorrect errors

I was creating a password for the listener and when I set the password it
(i.e. set password lsn1). I got the following output:

The command completed successfully

However, when I issued the stop command I got the following errors:

TNS-01150: The address of the specified listener name is incorrect
 NL-00303: syntax error in NV string

Could someone please help me fix this?

My listener.ora file:

LISTENER =
  (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
      (ADDRESS_LIST =
        (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = url.com)(PORT = 1521))
      )
    )
  )

    (SID_DESC =
      (GLOBAL_DBNAME = url.com)
      (ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.1)
      (SID_NAME = sid1)
    )
    (SID_DESC =
      (GLOBAL_DBNAME = url)
      (ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.1)
      (SID_NAME = sid2)
    )
  )
PASSWORDS_LISTENER=lsn1

----

I changed the value of the host and the SID_NAME for security purposes.

The Listener config syntax is very sensitive.

Try also Net Configuration assistant to create new listener.

Before this backup the old listener.ora for comparison.

Try also:

 (SID_DESC =
      (GLOBAL_DBNAME = url.com)
      (ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.1)
      (SID_NAME = sid1)
    )
    (SID_DESC =
      (GLOBAL_DBNAME = url)
      (ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.1)
      (SID_NAME = sid2)
    )
  )

PASSWORDS_LISTENER = lsn1

I actually fixed the problem.  This is what my backup listener looked like before I edited it:

LISTENER =
  (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
      (ADDRESS_LIST =
        (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = url.com)(PORT = 1521))
      )
    )
  )
SID_LIST_LISTENER =
  (SID_LIST =
    (SID_DESC =
      (SID_NAME = PLSExtProc)
      (ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.1)
      (PROGRAM = extproc)
    )

(SID_DESC =
      (GLOBAL_DBNAME = url.com)
      (ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.1)
      (SID_NAME = sid1)
    )
    (SID_DESC =
      (GLOBAL_DBNAME = url)
      (ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.1)
      (SID_NAME = sid2)
    )
  )

----

I was trying to delete the information relating to PLSExtProc and I deleted all of the information below:

(SID_LIST =
    (SID_DESC =
      (SID_NAME = PLSExtProc)
      (ORACLE_HOME = /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0.1)
      (PROGRAM = extproc)
    )

I realized I shouldn't have deleted  (SID_LIST=

When I put that information back in I didn't recieve anymore errors. Thanks!
