Installing software on the server

I was wondering what is the best way to install software on the server. I have an application that has very few users that use it but I want to put it on the server and at the request of the users push it out to the PC's for training. What would be the best way to go about this, mapping a network drive...etc

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi GanaSonaDa,

it depends ont he application

you can use software deployment policies to allow users to install when they want it
