DBCC USEROPTIONS

I’ve just run DBCC USEROPTIONS to check the current isolation level of the connection, but the isolation level is not shown.

I get all the other options (textsize,… concat_null_yields_null).

Why?

Thank you,
Deepak

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you didn't change it from read committed, it seems like it is excluded from the result.
Aneesh RetnakaranDatabase AdministratorCommented:
change the isolation level to something else and run the DBCC USEROPTIONS agaain
Aneesh RetnakaranDatabase AdministratorCommented:
again if you change back to read committed , it will display,

SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL REPEATABLE READ

DBCC USEROPTIONS

SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL READ COMMITTED

DBCC USEROPTIONS
