OE error messages 0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC92

Until two or three days ago I was able to access my Lycos mail through Outlook Express.

Now I get the above error messages.

I can still access my Lycos e-mail when I go to the Lycos web site directly.  Although the loading of both the web site and then the e-mail poage seems to take hours.

Any ideas?  Incidentally, I re-installed and re-configured the account several times as per instructions from the Lycos web site.

0x800CCC90 and 0x800CCC92 is a username and password issue... check your caps lock, are you supposed to use the whole email address or the first part of the email address? Check to make sure.

I have never seen these errors come up and it be anything else other than username/password

Sheepishly.......I have to admit that your answer put me on the right track.  I did not notice that my Caps Lock was on, hence, no access.  As soon as I released the lock, in came the hundreds of spam and annoying adverts.  :)  Thanks, Brent for your guidance.
