using outlook 2003 with exchange server 2003, would like to 'add others to an appointment only to show them the appointment on their calendar, not invite them as optional or required.  I am not sure if this is an option.  thanks.

    Greetings, jenakake.

That's not an option.  Outlook has no concept of an appointment recipient who isn't an invitee or a resource.
