Hi, Ianaldo,

So, to make sure, it's the "welcome reader" in the center?

I notice that your page is made up of two big gifs. Are you looking for design suggestions or technical how to?

My opinion, would be do move the logo to the left, where a person naturally begins reading, or even to the center.

Although I am personally trying to get up to speed myself, I have found this website (provided to me by another EE member, Thank You) to be very helpful http://www.webdesignfromscratch.com/.

Good Luck

Pressed too quick on enter......

Added a white border around it,

White rounded corners (top and bottom on seperate layers)
an image of a book,

and some text at the background

the layers have been named intuitive, so you can simply disable/enable them
(except for the ones that were already created)

i hope you like it

Thats excellent Mark, but do you think you could add maybe a little colour to it in someway that you feel that would fit the site at http://www.peak.ie/e-books

like a green or something, i dunno!

Thanks,

Ian.

i tried somthing, but it is very difficult to find a nice color with grey

i added a green overlay, modified the styke of the letters somewhat and colorized the book to some sort of blue

if you want more or less green, select the green layer, and change the opacity (now set to approx 10 % )
