Can I place a font in a Flash fla file library? I've been working with another person who uses a Mac and each time he publishes the swf file the font does not display correctly.

thanks,
Dan

Thanks for the link, the article doesn't help solve my problem, because the embedded font only works for the dynamic text fields. Once you move the flash file to another machine which hasn't got the font and re-publish the swf file then it's broken again. Do you know if there is a way around this?

Dan,

I don't know whether there is a way to make the FLA have your fonts copied to the other machine because it's no completely legal in most cases...

(Anyway take a look at: http://weblogs.t8design.com/)

What you could simply do in this case is copying all the fonts you use to the other machine...

http://www.trainingfromthesource.com/books/flash/bonus/font_and_sharing.php

and also

http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.asp?p=174349&seqNum=5&rl=1

the second link stats that device fonts cannot be embedded only static fonts can be embedded
