    Accepted Solution

Din345 I am using the same code to calculate a file that is 3Gbyte.
It takes less than a second to take the Md5.
How are u going to use this ?

Maybe a progressbar and Application.ProcessMessages can do the job, but
you want be able to check it since it ends so fast !

Actually it may take some seconds for certain files...
If you use Application.ProcessMessages so you can have a visual feedback and a Progressbar or a label
with the % value then you will slow down the process significantly.
